Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has expressed profound gratitude after his son, Tigana Khalwale, survived a road accident.
In an update on Tuesday night, February 6, the Senator said the incident that occurred in Ainabkoi left the vehicle damaged but spared Tigana from any harm.
"My son, Tigana Khalwale, came out of this accident at Ainabkoi last night alive and unscratched! God is good!" he wrote on X.
This is not the first time Tigana is involved in a road accident.
In July 2017, four of Khalwale's children were involved in a road accident at Kaimosi along the Kisumu-Kakamega highway.

The accident occurred when the vehicle they were traveling in collided with another car.
Fortunately, all four children survived with only minor injuries.
At the time, he praised his son Tigana for maintaining composure during the ordeal, which played a significant role in ensuring the safety of his siblings.
Tigana, who was behind the wheel, reportedly acted swiftly to avoid a more disastrous impact, a decision that potentially saved lives.
"My wives and I thank God for saving our 4 children in this afternoon's accident at Kaimosi. Kudos my brave son Tigana for controlling the car," he said at the time.
This comes barely a day after Khalwale revealed that his nephew Sasita Chui was among miners trapped after a gold mine collapsed in Shinyalu, Kakamega County on Monday evening, February 3.
Rescue teams managed to save 19 individuals, but three miners, including Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale's nephew, were feared dead.
"I am currently at Machilisi village in Shinyalu Constituency, where a goldmine collapsed last night trapping 22 men. So far, 19 rescued 3 feared dead, including Sasita Chui, my nephew," he said.
Khalwale expressed his grief and criticized the unsafe mining practices in the region, accusing certain investors of exploiting local miners and bypassing mining laws to extract gold illegally.
He urged Mining Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho to address the issue, emphasizing that the substantial revenue from gold mining should benefit the local community and economy.
"Joho, you have been telling us that you're concerned about this. We are not creating any pressure. All we're saying is that the KSh 1 billion coming from gold in Kakamega should be accounted for and remain within the community and the hustlers," he stated.
