Allies of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka have called on President William Ruto to take accountability for the chaos witnessed in his recent tours in Nairobi.
Addressing the media on Friday, March 14, Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo acknowledged that one person had died during the tours.
He noted that it would be prudent for the President to apologize and compensate the family of the foreign national.
Maanzo was referring to the death of a British national who was hit by a car that was in Ruto's motorcade along Ngong Road.
Meanwhile, the leaders called on the government to ensure that there is sufficient security after the rallies to avoid scenarios witnessed along Thika Road.

"We have seen the tours are marred with chaos and robbery. People who are paid to come to these rallies eventually end up looting people. The main thing is to provide security for Kenyans who are being robbed from their cars."
"Unfortunately, somebody died in this. The President needs to apologize and compensate that family," he stated.
On the other hand, the Senator alleged that the Head of State was using the tours to lay ground for the Finance Bill 2025.
He expressed that the tours were meant to prevent any potential fallout, as was witnessed in the 2024 Finance Bill.
"We need to look at it very carefully. It is not any different from the one which had been rejected before. Kenyans need to be alert, and that is why he is trying to popularise his tours in Nairobi," he claimed.
