NTSA online portal offers a number of services including; vehicle registration, inspection, and licensing aspects.

The system outage is expected to mostly affect second-hand car dealers who use the system on a daily basis to transfer logbooks and register newly imported vehicles.

The authority’s system also allows users to book inspection appointments, check the status of inspection bookings, and receive inspection reports.

Kenyans can further use the portal to apply for or renew existing driving licenses or conduct a vehicle registration search.
