Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions in parts of Nyandarua and Nyeri counties on Monday, June 9.
In a statement on Sunday, May 8, the company said the planned outages are part of ongoing maintenance and system upgrade works.
In Nyandarua County, power will be switched off from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and will affect the Ndaragwa area and its surroundings.
Areas to be impacted include the whole of Manguo, Maili Nne, Shauri, Ndaragwa Town, Shamata Town, Wiyumiririe Town, Uruko, Mutara Conservancy, Kiamariga, Ndogino, Olobolosat, Subuku, Ndaragwa Boys and Girls schools, Mutara Orchards, and adjacent customers.

Meanwhile, in Nyeri County, residents in the Kahiga area will also experience a planned power outage from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The areas affected include Kahiga Market, Kahiga Secondary School, Kahiga Dispensary, Kahiga Village, as well as Safaricom and Airtel network boosters and nearby custo
mers.
