Investigations into the gruesome murder of the National Land Commission’s (NLC) Interim Director of Communications Jennifer Wambua are ongoing.
On Wednesday homicide detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) visited the scene where her body was found in the Embul bul area of Ngong.
Wambua, a former Machakos-based journalist, was last seen on Friday last week leaving her workplace at Ardhi House at around 10am.
Reports on a local publication claimed that after she had testified in the Sh122 million fraud case at the Government Advertising Agency she asked journalists who were in the courtroom not to publish her account.

When she was supposed to testify the second time as the key witness, Wambua did not show up and the court heard that she was unwell.
Herdsmen who found her body told sleuths that it had bruises on the neck and the detectives believe she was tortured and strangled.
Investigators want to establish whether Wambua was abducted from the city and killed elsewhere before her body was dumped in the Ngong forest.
CCTV footage at the ACK Gardens and adjacent buildings captured Wambua being dropped off by her husband Joseph Komu at about 7am and walked in carrying her handbag.
Barely an hour later Wambua went to where the family car was parked and opened the boot and put her handbag there before leaving on foot towards the city centre from Upper Hill.
Her husband would later find her handbag with her mobile phone inside and Wambua's packed lunch.
