A KCSE 2021 male candidate in Bomet County has committed suicide over unknown issues.
His body was found early Monday hanging on a tree at Turgut village in Kimawit area, Sotik Sub-County.
The deceased was schooling at Keronjo High School.
His death comes a few days before nationwide exams kick off later this week.

Meanwhile, KCPE exams has kicked off seamlessly across the country.
Over 1.2 million candidates are seating the exams set to take the next three days.
Education CS Prof George Magoha has cautioned against cheating, noting that the same will be dealt with ruthlessly.
Elsewhere, Ruiru Member of Parliament Simon King'ara has assured all Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates in his constituency that he will provide them with meals as they sit for their exams.
King'ara revealed that his foundation had partnered with a non-governmental organisation, Food 4 Education, to provide meals for the learners during this period.
Ruiru Constituency has 18 public schools, and the initiative is set to benefit 2,500 candidates.
The legislator noted that the Covid-19 pandemic had gravely affected the ability of some parents to properly provide for their children.
"We decided to do it in 18 public schools but in future, we hope to do this in all our schools," King'ara stated
