The continental football governing body warned Kenya that continued failure to meet CAF safety and security requirements would lead to the relocation of Harambee Stars matches to an alternative venue.
CAF advised Kenya to increase security measures by deploying sufficient personnel within the perimeter of the stadium, as well as adhering to the road closures on match days.
This comes days after CAF fined Kenya Ksh2.5million (USD 20,000) over security breaches during the Harambee Stars match against DR Congo at Kasarani.
On Monday, August 11, CAF announced stringent new regulations limiting attendance to just 27,000 spectators for the upcoming Zambia vs. Kenya fixture, which is set for Sunday, August 17.
The confederation also announced it will only permit entry to holders of electronic tickets, effectively banning the use of thermal or physical tickets for the fixture.
