The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has announced job openings targeting qualified legal professionals across various specialized fields.
In a notice on Friday, November 21, the commission invited applications from candidates interested in serving in multiple tribunals and committees.
In the announcement, the JSC noted that the recruitment process is merit-based and open to all eligible applicants.
The commission is seeking a Chairperson for the Petition Committee in a re-advertised position under the Public Private Partnership Act 2021, with one post available.
It is also inviting applications for the position of Chairperson of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal, which similarly offers one post, alongside one available post for a Member of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal in the advocate category.

In the Industrial Property Tribunal, the JSC is recruiting a Chairperson for one post, while two posts are available for Members who are advocates and an additional two posts for Members who are non-advocates.
The Competition Tribunal has openings for a Chairperson with one post available, as well as one post for a Member.
The Standards Tribunal is seeking a Chairperson for a single post.
Meanwhile, the Micro and Small Enterprises Tribunal has two available posts for Members who are advocates, and two for Members who are non-advocates.
In the Energy and Petroleum Tribunal, the commission is advertising one post for the Chairperson and three posts for Members.
The Retirement Benefits Appeals Tribunal is offering two posts for Members.
The Public Benefit Organizations Dispute Tribunal has one post available for a Chairperson, followed by two posts for Members in the advocate category and two more for Members in the non-advocate category.
Applications must be submitted through the JSC jobs portal, with all documents required to reach the commission no later than Friday, December 5, 2025 at 5:00 PM.
The JSC added that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.

This comes a week after the JSC announced that it has shortlisted 34 candidates for the position of Resident Kadhi.
In a notice on Wednesday, November 12, JSC Secretary Winfridah Mokaya said the recruitment process attracted hundreds of applicants after the positions were advertised earlier this year.
"On 9th June 2025, the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) advertised five (5) posts of Resident Kadhi. The advertisement attracted a total of 261 applicants," the notice read.
Mokaya stated that the commission has now concluded the shortlisting stage and will announce the interview dates in due course.
"Following the review of applications, the JSC shortlisted 34 candidates. Dates for the selection interviews will be communicated to the candidates," the notice added.
The list includes Hassan Makokha, Abubakar Muhsin Ali, Ahmed Abdulhafidh Karama, Hussein Muktar Hilowle, Osman Duba Molu, Adhan Mohamed Shide, Abdulqadir Ibrahim Alareimy, Abubakar Abdu Maka, Mohamed Ali Omar, and Ibrahim Gollo Wako.
Others are Faki Said Mkanga, Siasa Idd Ngare, Hasan Yusuf Akasi, Feisal Hatib Ali, Ashraf Onyango Saleh, Ali Salim Said, Hassan Mohamed Gure, Abubakar Jirma Duba, Abdisatar Abdi Ibrahim, and Ali Hassan Okunne.
Also shortlisted are Abdallah Ronald Akuku, Adan Ahmed Dakat, Juma Dokata Diba, Saidi Shabani Mwagoti, Yassir Abdulkadir Shaibu, Elijah Cheruiyot Maritim, Abdiwahab Sanbur Adan, Abdirahman Dekow Guhad, Adan Ali Maalim, and Ahmed Abdikarim Abdirahman.
Others are Mohamed Abdikher Kulmiye, Abdijimal Mohamed Abdirahman, Mohamed Sheikh Ismail, and Abdulkarim Abubakar Shekue.
