The One Kenya Alliance that has brought together the Amani National Congress, Ford-Kenya, Wiper, and Kanu parties has dismissed claims that it is a State House project for the 2022 general election.
Speaking on Wednesday, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi noted that the rumuour is being peddled by their opponents who have sensed defeat in the upcoming elections.
Mudavadi noted that those accusing them of being a State House project are currently closer to the President than they are.
“If you take a closer look, you will realise that those who are calling us a project are the people who are currently working very closely with the government. They are far much closer to the government than us,” Mudavadi said.

According to Mudavadi, instead of branding them a project, their competitors should sell their agenda to the electorate and let them decide on who should be Kenya’s next president.
“We should tell Kenyans what we intend to change in their lives if they elect us and then leave it up to them to decide who the next President will be,” he said.
Mudavadi and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi have been touted as the likely lineup for the One Kenya alliance.
It is worth noting that Mudavadi, Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula were all in the NASA coalition but ditched it after a fallout with ODM.
