Siaya Senator Oburu Oginga has expressed confidence that UDA and ODM will form the next government if the two parties work together in 2027.
In a statement issued on Thursday, August 27, Oburu claimed that ODM-UDA combined numbers will guarantee victory in the General Election.
He explained that the Orange Party was working with UDA because it was the path where the former party leader, the late Raila Odinga, left them.
Oburu added that ODM was working with the ruling party to form the next government to realise its plan for Kenya's economic liberation.
"As ODM, the strategy to achieve all these freedoms and rights might change, but the goal remains the same, which is to form the next government.

"Our numbers (ODM-UDA) combined, we are assured to form the next government come August 2027 General elections through democratic process," he stated.
The ODM Leader broke the silence about the chaos in Homa Bay, where ODM supporters clashed with those attending the Linda Mwananchi rally. He condemned the attack strongly and publicly denounced the political violence witnessed in the county.
"As ODM, we do not condone goonism in any form, including but not limited to the hiring, training, and funding of individuals to harm others.
"Such acts infringe on the democratic right of citizens to travel freely across the country," the Siaya Senator said in a statement.
He urged the National Police Service to conduct a thorough investigation and bring the culprits to justice.
Oburu reiterated that the Constitution explicitly protects Kenyans' right to freedom of movement and our right to participate in politics, adding that stopping anyone from exercising these freedoms infringed upon the very rights we fought so dearly to achieve.
Earlier, Sifuna stated that the Homa Bay attack was a drop in the ocean compared to what he experienced while standing by the late Raila Odinga's side.
