Gatundu South lawmaker Moses Kuria has been kicked out of People Empowerment Party (PEP).
Reports indicate that in house squabbles in PEP led to the outspoken legislator getting usurped from his position as party leader and ultimately as a member of the Party.
The Party's national chairman Watson Simiyu admitted to a local daily that there existed fundamental differences between Hon. Kuria and other senior members of the party.

He went on to reveal that the issues arose after the party's wins in the Mt Kenya region.
PEP Candidates in Gaturi ward and Juja Constituency beat Jubilee candidates in December 2020 and May 2021 respectively.
It has also emerged that Moses Kuria wanted the party to rebrand so as to be in line with Deputy President William Ruto's 'hustler movement'.
This is the second Ruto allied party to have internal wrangles after United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ex-chairman Mohammed Noor made a move to take back the party.
In a suit filed with the registrar of political parties, Mr Noor alleged that UDA Chairman Johnston Muthama and Secretary-General Veronicah Maina took over the party unlawfully.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Ruto laughed off the troubles in UDA claiming he was still the Deputy Party leader of Jubilee.
