The family of Brian Macharia, the man alleged to have been killed at a bar in Ruaka, Nairobi has revealed the deceased's last moments.
The 27-year-old is said to have been thrown off the building that houses Wingu Bistro Club on Sunday night, September 26, 2021, for allegedly breaking a glass.
According to the family, Macharia was a jovial man and had spent the previous day with his family plotting a business venture with his brother-in-law.

The in-law, Martin Kingori, revealed that he spent time on Saturday with Macharia, together with their wives at King'ori's home and had lunch.
The two would later proceed to check out a pick up truck they had purchased together in Karen.
“We also purchased a pickup carrier, took it to a garage on Ngong Road before proceeding home. We had supper at my house and a drink before he and his wife left for home,” King'ori recounted.
They were also supposed to meet on that Saturday evening, but it never happened.
“He was supposed to pass by my house so we could deliberate on some issue. When I called him in the early hours of the evening, he told me that he would call me back at 11pm. When I called him about 13 minutes past midnight, he said he would call me back, and then hung up.
“I could hear noise in the background, so I could tell he was in a bar. Twenty minutes later, I got a call from his phone, and the person he was drinking with said Mr Macharia had been thrown out by a bouncer," King'ori narrated.
He then rushed to the club, only to find officers from the Karuri Police Station processing the scene.
Macharia is said to have been assaulted by a bouncer and two waiters at the club before he was allegedly thrown off the building.
A CCTV footage released from the building showed the bouncer and the two waiters assaulting Macharia.
His body was found lying at the foot of the 6-storey-building.
“Postmortem results showed that Macharia died of severe injuries and organ damage. He had broken arms, legs, and ribs. His kidney and liver were ruptured as well,” King’ori said.
Ginnet, King'ori's wife, remembered her brother-in-law as a jovial man, and one who had a solution to every challenge.
“He made it so easy for everyone to be around him. He was the life of the party, and was loved mainly because he could relate with people from all walks of life. We will miss him so much," she said.
