Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to plan and arrest the 'thieves’ he cautioned Kenyans not to elect while addressing a crowd on Friday, October 29 in Ruiru, Kiambu County.

The outspoken legislator said that if the Head of State is aware that a presidential candidate in the 2022 race has a tainted image, he should move fast and call for his prosecution before the upcoming polls.

“If the President has information that there is a thief who wants to contest in the general elections. He should make plans for the person to be arrested, taken to court, and sent to jail so that he won't be in the 2022 race," Rigathi said.
