The Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna has requested Royal Media Services to open a Mulembe TV.
Sifuna made the request after attending the Morning discussion dubbed Daybreak at Citizen TV in the company of Kimili, Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa, and Ford Kenya Secretary General Chris Wamalwa.
Speaking via Twitter, Sifuna remarked that the panelist had a choice that would have seen them conduct the morning show in the Kibukusu dialect.

"if we wanted, we could have conducted this morning's #DayBreak show on @citizentvkenya entirely in Kibukusu. Royal media should now give us Mulembe TV!" Sifuna stated.
Sifuna remarks came a day after RMS launched a new brand under its shelf known as Ramogi TV for the Nyanza people. The TV station is purely in the Dholuo language and has one of its stations in Kisumu.
According to RMS Group Managing Director Wachira Waruru, the station will carry on the exemplary work of its sister companies Citizen TV and Inooro TV, by giving the best stories that the people will relate to.
He added that Kenyans should expect to see more stations being launched in local dialects.
During the station's launch on Monday, November 29 at 6:30 pm, Citizen TV News Anchor Trevor Ombija was the Master of Ceremony and hyped praise for the administration's commitment to continuing to offer local dialects products.
"Wise men said that a country is only built by stories. Luos have waited for the opportunity of joining the national conversation. From today, the help has come to the
"Luo nation, and we welcome you to your new home where help brings growth where we can find hope and show love. Ramogi TV is our home, welcome," Ombija stated.
