Former Police Spokesperson Charles Owino has fired salvos at the ODM party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna telling him that he is not in his league.
Speaking to the press where he responded to questions on why he ditched ODM and joined UDM, Owino said the move seeks to eradicate voter apathy and ensure that more voters turn up to ensure Raila wins.
Owino noted that Raila is no longer an ODM presidential candidate but a leader of the Azimio La Umoja that brings together various candidates.
"Baba is going to be a candidate of a coalition of several parties under Azimio La Umoja. ODM policies are based on democracy and transparency. Baba fought for many years and got detained because of democracy."

He went on and disparaged Sifuna over his remarks that he was after dividing the ODM party.
Owino said Sifuna is scared of their abilities to clinch the governor seat in the August 9, polls.
The Former Police boss said they were willing to fly the ODM ticket but the party was not willing to offer them a ticket or an equal playground to compete for the ticket.
"Sifuna is simply scared. If they wanted to hire us to deliver for ODM they know we will deliver for ODM. If they don't want to hire us, what we are simply doing is avoiding voter apathy. What we want is Raila to get as many votes as possible."
He added: "We want to encourage any other person who wants to run on any other party to run on that party so that we don't lose on those who want to vote. Most interestingly, Sifuna cannot even deliver for ODM even an MCA seat in Bungoma. He knows we can deliver all seats for ODM in Siaya so we are not at the same level with him".
Owino and former MP Nicholas Gumbo ditched ODM for UDP which they will use to vie for the governor's office.
Owino dropped out of the race and agreed to be Gumbo's deputy governor in the race.
