Bomet Teacher Arrested For Sodomising Three Pupils

A male teacher is being detained in Bomet County for allegedly sodomising three pupils of Mosoriot Academy.

The teacher was a tutor at the school.

He was arrested and taken to Mogogosiek Police Station in Konoin pending arraignment.

The suspect Bernard Kirui was arrested after one of the victims complained of severe pain.

He was rushed to Litein Hospital where it was established that he was sodomised.

Konoin police boss Tom Achiya said they acted on complaints from his fellow teachers in arresting the suspect.

"His arrest follows complaints from staff members at the school. We conducted probe which led to the arrest of the suspect," he said.

The teacher is said to have slept at the boy's dormitory despite having his separate room allocated by the school.

The suspect is expected at Sotik Law courts upon completion of investigations.
