All Kenyans are expected to file their returns by 30th June 2025.

The Kenya Revenue Authority has announced that Kenyans can now file their nil returns on the eCitizen platform.

In a statement dated Friday, June 13, the taxman stated that all Kenyans with a KRA pin were required to file their returns for 2024.

Therefore, those who did not make any income in 2024 were encouraged to file their returns on eCitizen, as it only takes a few minutes.

This can be done on eCitizen through the steps below.

"If you had no income in 2024, you are required to file a NIL return. If you are employed and have other sources of income from your side hustles, you are still required to declare them in addition to the income you get from your job."
