Our brother today boarded a plane and landed at JKIA for the very first time ever - Eric Omondi.

Comedian Eric Omondi has met a boy who went viral during the anti-government protests for claiming that the government had sold Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

In a video shared on his social media platforms on Monday, November 25, Omondi treated the young man to a flight from Kisumu International Airport to JKIA.

The comedian was seen showing the seemingly excited boy around at JKIA, claiming that it was his first time at the airport.

Omondi stated that the young man, who became a sensation after President William Ruto cancelled the Kenya Airports Authority's (KAA) procurement process with Adani, wants to be a mechanic.

"Our brother today boarded a plane and landed at JKIA for the very first time ever. We celebrate and appreciate him. We enrolled him at a TVET. He wants to be a mechanic," Omondi stated.

Shortly after the president announced the cancellation of the procurement process between KAA and Adani for upgrading JKIA, social media was abuzz with the boy's earlier video.

In the video, he said, "He has sold the airport. He has sold it to an Indian and he thinks we don't know."

A section of Kenyans and leaders on social media offered to gift the boy.

"I don't own the copyrights to the image but am looking for this legend. I must treat him for Christmas. His words were prophetic. Any leads, please inbox," Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba captioned a photo of the boy on her X account.
