Kenyan business magnate Chris Kirubi in an interview with Churchill shared memories of his youthful days and how his love for music drove him into the media business.
Kirubi in the interview at his lush palace recounted how young ladies could not help but keep following him as a young, smartly dressed and hardworking man.
"I was not just active but also very handsome. The young ladies could not keep out. They were like meat and the fly. It is nice to think of the past, it gave me an opportunity to work hard," stated Kirubi.
Chris' love for music sent him to the media owners' space. He bought Capital FM, out of his love for music.

Upon acquiring the station, Chris changed the tone and flow of the station. He said this made him abandon the station's wealthy women following in Karen and go for the youth audiences.
"I was very good at music. It forced me to buy Capital. When the opportunity came, I paid the full amount while others were trying to bargain," recalls Kirubi.
The youth would then form most of the station's audience, a strategic move that's kept the station top on the list of most listened to urban radios statins in the country.
"I became the owner. I changed the music immediately. The old ladies in Karen complained, 'we know you are rich, but why do you come to spoil our station,' simply because the music they like was not going with the youth.
"For me, I was going for the masses. The population was the youth," explained Kirubi.
Kirubi also worked as a DJ for the station.
