ODM leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto are expected to attend the burial of politician-cum-farmer Mzee Jackson Kibot in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
Soy MP Caleb Kositany, who is also eyeing the Uasin Gishu Governor seat, told Citizen TV that the DP will attend the burial.
"The Deputy President is Lamu and after he is done with his business there, he will fly here to attend the burial," Kositany who was already at the home of Mzee Kibor said.
On Tuesday, Raila's presidential campaign secretariat Dennis Onsarigo told the Star that Raila will attend the event.

Onsarigo said the ODM leader will thereafter address several rallies in the town.
“He (Raila) will then be engaged in other activities,” Onsarigo said on phone.
The Azimio La Umoja Movement leader who has taken a two-day break from campaigns is also set to hold rallies in the North Rift over the weekend.
Mzee Kibor died on March 16, after long battle with sickness.
He was a well known and a hardworking farmer who owned massive wealth in the north rift region.
He was also celebrated as the Chairman of Men's conference, an imaginary meeting of men who never take part in Valentine celebrations.
