Narok senator Ledama ole Kina has sensationally claimed that he would have been killed during the chaos at Bomas of Kenya were it not for General Service Unit (GSU) officers.
In a statement via Twitter on Friday, August 19, Ledama claimed that he was attacked at Bomas with a section of elected leaders shouting kill him.
"I was brutally assaulted by William Ruto supporters most of them elected members of parliament at Bomas of Kenya shouting kill him. The GSU protected me otherwise I would have been killed. Thank you @NPSOfficial_KE I am grateful to everyone who has called to check on me," he stated.
Chaos were witnessed at Bomas of Kenya when IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati was about to announce President-elect William Ruto.

The Narok Senator was among a group of Azimio politicians who tried to prevent Chebukati from announcing the presidential results claiming they had been rigged.
IEBC Chair Chebukati called for the arrest of the politicians who caused chaos at the National tallying centre.
"During the announcement of the presidential results, Chairman Wafula Chebukati, Commissioners Prof. Abdi Guliye, and Boya Molu, and CS/CEO Marjan H. Marjan were physically attacked, assaulted, and injured by persons in the company of certain political leaders. We call for the arrest and prosecution of these assailants regardless of their political affiliation," he said.
