Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna is up in arms with Uasin Gishu Woman Rep Gladys Boss Shollei over her remarks on Protests.
During a church service in Taita Taveta County on Sunday, Shollei said that protests are illegal adding that she had learnt during the preachings that it is also a sin.
"Mimi nilikua nafikiria maandamano ni hatia katika sheria lakini leo mumetufunza kwamba ni dhambi mbele ya Mungu. Kwa hivyo leo kanisa imetupea nguvu tuweze kupambana na wale watu," Shollei said in her address to the Church Service.
The remarks have apparently angered Lawyer Sifuna who took to his Twitter to lash out at the MP.

Sifuna, who was taught law by Shollei, said it was shocking that the Woman Rep could make such remarks.
"I feel so ashamed to know Shollei. It's most embarrassing that she taught me law at the University of Nairobi. It's even more embarrassing for me that I consider her a friend because it makes me really question my personal choices. Law Society of Kenya certificates of dishonour ziliisha?" Sifuna posed.
The Senator's remarks could have been fueled by the realities in the 2010 constitution which legalises the right to picket and protest.
Article 37 of the Kenyan constitution gives every person the right, peaceably and unarmed, to assemble, to demonstrate, picket, and to present petitions to public authorities.
