“The timing of this maintenance has been planned to result in the least inconvenience to our customers. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, and appreciate your understanding as we strive to provide you with best-in-class services,” Safaricom added.

The maintenance comes weeks after the telecommunications giant held another system maintenance on Monday, June 24, from 1:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.

All Mpesa services were unavailable during the exercise.
