KUCCPS urged students who need guidance or advice to visit the support centers from April 2, 2025, to April 13, 2025.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced it has set up 63 support centers across 47 counties to help candidates applying for university and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) courses.

In a notice on Tuesday, April 1, KUCCPS urged students who need guidance or advice to visit the support centers from April 2, 2025, to April 13, 2025. 

“Following the opening of applications for Degree, TVET and TTC programmes for the 2024 KCSE cohort and other Form Four leavers, KUCCPS has set up support centres in all the 47 counties. Applicants who require guidance or advice should visit their nearest institution from April 2nd to 13th, 2025,” read the notice in part.

The support centers include; Alupe University, Baringo National Polytechnic, Belgut Technical and Vocational College, Bomet University, Chuka University, David Wambuli Technical and Vocational College, Dedan Kimathi University, Egerton University, Embu University, Emmurua Dikkir Technical and Vocational College, Endebess Technical Training College, Garissa University, Garsen Technical and Vocational College, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology, Kabianga University, Kaelo Technical and Vocational College, Kaimosi Friends University, Kapcherop Technical and Vocational College, Karen Institute for the Deaf and Kibabii University.

Others include; Kinango Technical and Vocational College, Kipsoen Technical and Vocational College, Kirinyaga University, Kisii University, Kitale National Polytechnic, Kiteilakapel Technical and Vocational College, Koitalel Samoei University College, Laikipia University, Laisamis Technical Training Institute Marsabit, Lamu East Technical and Vocational College, Limuru Technical and Vocational College, Lungalunga Technical and Vocational College and Mabera Technical Training Institute.

Students can also visit; Machakos University, Mandera Technical Training Institute, Masaai Mara University, Masai Technical and Vocational College, Maseno University, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Mawego National Polytechnic, Meru University, Moi University, Murang’a Technical Training Institute, Murang’a University of Technology, Nachu Technical and Vocational College Kiambu, Nyamira National Polytechnic, Nyandarua National Polytechnic, Pwani University Kilifi, Rongo University, Shamberere Technical Training Institute, South Eastern of Kenya University, Sotik Technical Training Institute, St. Joseph Technical Institute for the Deaf -Nyang’oma, Taveta Technical and Vocational College, Technical University of Mombasa, Tetu Technical and Vocational College, Tharaka University Tharaka Nithi, Tom Mboya University, Total Technical Training Institute, Turkana University, University of Eldoret and Wajir Technical and Vocational College. 

This comes days after KUCCPS opened its portals for 2024 KCSE candidates to apply for Degree, TVET, and TTC courses.

In a notice on Friday, March 28, KUCCPS urged the 2024 KCSE cohort to log into the portal and select their preferred courses.

“Attention 2024 KCSE cohort! You can now apply for degree courses via the KUCCPS portal. Log in to http://students.kuccps.net and apply,” the notice read in part.

KUCCPS announced that the deadline for the applications is April 21, 2025.
