Philip Aroko has issued a message to his supporters following his defeat in the Kasipul by-election held on Thursday, November, 27.
In an update on Friday, November 28, Aroko thanked his supporters for standing with him throughout the journey, expressing gratitude to both Kasipul residents and supporters from across the country.
"To my cherished constituents and supporters both in Kasipul and across the nation, I extend my deepest and most sincere gratitude for your true love and support. This journey has been a testament to your commitment and while the path has been challenging, your spirit has made every step worthwhile," he said.
Aroko went on to praise the passion demonstrated by voters during the voting exercise, highlighting how much their dedication meant to him.
"I was truly moved by the extraordinary passion and profound concern you exhibited during the recent Kasipul by-election. That zeal was real and undeniable. I remain forever indebted to the people of Kasipul, today and for all the days to come," he added.

Aroko also addressed those who may feel disappointed by the outcome, noting that their support was both powerful and deeply appreciated.
"To those constituents who may feel disheartened today, I feel you deeply. Please know that you have done me a profound honour. You turned out in full force and demonstrated your love and belief with authoritative clarity," he further said.
In conclusion, Aroko urged his supporters to remain optimistic and resilient, saying the political journey is not over.
"Let us remember: there is always a next time. We must not let this moment diminish our resolve. Stay strong. Stay united. Our journey toward a better Kasipul is far from over," he concluded.

On his part, newly elected MP Boyd Were celebrated the victory as a win for the people of Kasipul, giving credit to faith, unity, and the ODM team that backed his candidacy.
In a statement, Were began by expressing gratitude to the residents for trusting him with leadership, terming the win as a blessing for the constituency.
"So the Lord has done it, not for me, but for the people of Kasipul Constituency. I am profoundly grateful to the residents of Kasipul for placing their trust in my vision, believing in my Development Agenda, and granting me the privilege to serve as your Member of Parliament. Your confidence is a solemn responsibility, and I carry it with humility and unwavering dedication," he said.
Were also reaffirmed ODM’s continued dominance and unity in the constituency, emphasising his commitment to collaborative progress.
"Under my leadership, the ODM party will remain steadfast in Kasipul, built on unity, respect for one another, and a shared commitment to progress. Our strength lies not in division, but in our ability to move forward together with a clear purpose," he added.
Were further recognised the party leadership and campaign teams, acknowledging the role they played in delivering the victory.
"I extend heartfelt gratitude to our Party Leader, Hon. Dr. Oburu Odinga, the ODM National Chairperson H.E. Governor Gladys Wanga, all Governors, Members of Parliament, MCAs, County Officials, and the tireless Ground Mobilizers. Each of you played a meaningful role, and your support has been the backbone of this victory," he further said.
Were described the win as a collective achievement that reflects the unity and democratic maturity of the constituency.
"This triumph is not merely an electoral outcome, it is a reflection of our collective resolve, the maturity of our democracy, and the unity of our people. It affirms that when a community stands together, guided by faith and shared values, great things are possible," he stated.
