Addressing a section of Kitui MCAs at his Karen residence on Tuesday, DP Ruto mentioned that the country needs to get rid of stale political tactics of threats and coercion.

"Instilling fear in leaders will not better the lives of Kenyans. Instead, we must come up with programmes that will empower them.

"Leaders must aspire to work together and compete on the platform of issues, programmes and their development track-record. We must rid our country of old political tactics of threats and coercion that will not make better the lives of ordinary Kenyans," DP Ruto said.
