The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has invited the four presidential candidates for a consultative meeting to iron out issues of concern regarding forms 34A and 34B.
This follows a concern raised by ODM leader Raila Odinga who wrote to the Commission seeking answers on an observation made on the printing of the forms.
Raila is seeking the presidency on Azimio ticket. Others in the race are Agano Party's David Wahiga Mwaure, UDA's William Ruto, and Roots' George Wajackoyah.
In a letter by IEBC CEO Marjan Hussein Marjan, the Commission has scheduled a meeting for Friday, July 29, 2022.
"The commission has taken note of concerns raised by some of the representatives of presidential candidates regarding the printing of results for 34 A Nad 34 B," Marjan stated.

"The purpose of this letter is to invite you and/or your representatives to a consultative meeting to address the concerns raised on Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Bomas of Kenya at 11.00 am," part of the letter by IEBC read.
Through his lawyer Paul Mwangi, Raila had said there are a number of issues observed by their agents during their tour of Greece where they had gone to witness the printing of the presidential ballot papers.
Mwangi says their agents observed something unusual in the printing of form 34 A.
"Our team picked up that there were two books of Form 34As which was labelled as Book 1 of 2 and Book 2 of 2. The team sought clarification from the explanation given was that extra Form 34As were needed in each polling station because there was need to give copies to election observers, media and other stakeholders. We reject the explanation," Mwangi said in a letter.
Also, the ODM leader raised queries on the IEBC failure to print form 34B.
Mwangi says their agents were told that form 34B will self-generate, an explanation they say has not augured well with them.
"There is no room for the commission to exercise any discretion in this matter. The commission must print Form 34Bs on the same footing as it has printed Form 34A,” Mwangi stated in his letter.
“I raised these issues at the Airport when we attended the ceremony to receive the first batch of Presidential ballot papers.”
