Renowned Kenyan musician Juliani has rubbished claims that he is main cause behind the recent separation of Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and his ex-wife Lillian Nganga.
Governor Mutua and Lillian parted ways a few weeks ago, with both noting that it was a mutual decision.
In their respective statements, they both did not say the reason for the separation, only noting that they would remain friends and work together towards completing initiatives they had rolled out for Machakos people.
Following the separation, photos emerged online of Juliani hanging out with Lillian, creating speculation that they were in a relationship. Reacting to the photos, a section of netizens accused the rapper of ‘snatching’ Governor Mutua’s wife.
For weeks, Juliani had been silent on the allegations, but he has now broken his silence, noting that the narrative being pushed online is false.

While dismissing the reports, Juliani noted that Lillian and him are adults capable of making their own decisions, therefore, there is no way he could steal her from Mutua.
He urged those claiming that he snatched Governor Mutua’s wife to stop peddling falsehood, adding that he has received threats on his life due to the reports circulating online.
“How now can you "iba mtu"?! An intelligent adult with a sound mind. The call/text threat on my life today, not funny! "Ulinyang'anyana" narrative is false, tired, juicy headlines tu. Kindly stop! For the threats, usi aim face, na prefer niki smile kwa open casket,” he tweeted.
According to Boniface Mwangi, a close friend of Juliani, the rapper has already recorded a statement at Kileleshwa police over the alleged threat.
"My very good friend @JulianiKenya was threatened yesterday. Someone called him and texted using 0773912088. He told him to stop posting pics posed with his friend @LillyanneNganga, and if he continues, they will kill him. He has recorded a statement at Kileleshwa Police Station," he said.
