The Ministry of Roads and Transport has announced 189 job opportunities in the State Department for Roads.
In a public notice on Tuesday, July 29, the Ministry invited interested and qualified Kenyans to apply for the positions.
The vacancies include: Housekeeping Assistant (3), Driver Instructor III KIHBT (7), Plant Operator Instructor III KIHBT (8), Housekeeping Assistant III (27), Cook III (23), Waiter Assistant III (5), Artisan III - General Power Electrician (3), and Artisan Tailoring III (3).
Other positions are; Artisan Auto Electrician Mechanic III (15), Artisan Motor Vehicle Mechanic III (10), Artisan Mechanical III (6), Artisan Building III (4), Artisan Plant Mechanic III (16), Artisan Spray Painter III (4), Artisan Panel Beater III (5) and Artisan Upholster III (4).
The Ministry of Roads is also seeking to fill the positions of Plant Operator III (11), Driver II (Light & Heavy Commercial (12) and Security Warden III (23).

How to Apply
Interested and qualified candidates are required to complete one PSC2 (Revised 2016) application form, which is available on the Public Service Commission’s website, www.publicservice.go.ke.
Applicants can send the completed application to the Principal Secretary, State Department for Roads, Ministry of Roads and Transport, P.O. Box 30260-00100, Nairobi.
Alternatively, the applications can be hand delivered to the State Department for Roads Human Resource Management registry, Transcom House, 5th Floor
The deadline for applying is August 22, 2025.
