Injured passengers were taken to Naivasha District Hospital for medical attention.

Several people are feared dead after being involved in a nasty road accident at the Mahi-Mahiu area on the night of Saturday, August 9.

The accident occurred after a trailer experienced brake failure and rammed into an ENA coach from behind.

The trailer also rammed into two other personal vehicles along the busy stretch.

The ENA Coach bus was travelling from Nairobi to Migori when it was involved in the accident.

Photos of the accident seen by nairobileo.co.ke show the bus completely overturned, with several other vehicles damaged due to the impact.

Emergency responders who rushed to the scene took the Injured passengers to Naivasha District Hospital for medical attention.

The accident came hours after seven people were killed after a public service vehicle collided with a lorry at Korompoi Global Estate near Kitengela on the Namanga-Isinya Highway.

The deceased were on board a Nailepu Sacco matatu when the accident happened.

According to the Police, the matatu was trying to overtake when it collided with the lorry coming from Kitengela, headed to Kajiado town.

On Friday, August 8, 25 people died after the school bus they were travelling in overturned in Kisumu's Mamboleo area.

The bus rolled after the driver failed to negotiate the vast Coptic roundabout, which is known to be a black spot.

Nineteen people died on the spot, while six others succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital.
