Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions that will affect customers across eight counties on Tuesday, November 25.
In a notice on Monday, November 23, the company said the scheduled outages are meant to allow for maintenance works.
According to the notice, the planned outages will run at different times during the day, targeting specific locations in Nairobi, Kajiado, Nandi, Kakamega, Nyeri, Embu, Kilifi, and Kwale counties.
In Nairobi, the areas to be affected include parts of Karen and Langata from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
The locations listed are Bomas of Kenya, CITAM, Nyumba Moja Rd, Forest Edge Gardens, Muiri Rd, Langata Substation and adjacent customers.

A second Nairobi outage will cover Kayole, Komarock and Spine Road between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.
The affected locations include Komarock Phase 1, Mbuyu Court, Acacia Court, Mihango, Spring Valley, Parts of Kayole, Kayole Junction, Kayole, Kayole 1 Mkt, Kayole Police Station and Matopeni.
Other affected areas are Mihango Bus Stage, Kayole Posta, Jawaka, Kayole Nyaura Bus Stage, Three in One Supermarket, Kayole Tushauriane and adjacent customers.
In Kajiado County, power will be switched off in Amboseli and Isara from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Areas listed include Jesbriquette, Sopa Lodge, Ngong Veg, AA Lodge, Mada Hotel, Kibo Safari, Ngong Narok Primary, Omra, Mbirikani, Parts of Simba Cement and adjacent customers.

Nandi County will experience an outage in the Kibwareng area from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., covering Chepkatamon Centre, Kabwareng, Chepkaos Market and adjacent customers.
In Kakamega County, a full-day outage from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. will affect Musanda, Imanga, Buhuru, Bungatsi, Iyapo, Nyapeta, Buchifi, Shthukhumi, Mutoma and adjacent customers.
Residents of Nyeri County in the Kiawara DC’s Offices area will be affected from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Locations include Kiawara DC’s Offices, Rurichu Village, Lamuria Dispensary, Lamuria Village and adjacent customers.
In Embu County, two separate outages are scheduled. The first, from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., will affect Gitaru, Kindaruma and Kiambere, including Kiambere KenGen Camps, Water Meyer, Kiambere Complex, Katothya, Kavui, Ngiri, Gwakarigu, Mutindwa, KenGen Intake and Water Treatment, Spillway, Tailrace, Cieria and adjacent customers.
A second outage from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. will affect Muchonoke and Makunguru, covering Kavingori, Menuri, Mastermind, Biafra, Cianyi, Kambaru, Mwangaza, Mungao, Kiamuringa, Gaya Academy, Siakago Hillside and adjacent customers.
In Kilifi County, power will be interrupted from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., affecting Kilifi Town, Kilifi Hospital, Kilifi County Offices, Sea Horse, Naivas, Mwango, Msufini, Kwa Hamidi and adjacent customers.
Kwale County will also experience a planned outage along Diani Beach Road from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
The affected areas include Carrefour Supermarket, Swahili Beach Resort, Kaskazi Resort, Diani Shopping Centre, Trade Winds, Diani Sea Resort, Chandarana Supermarket, Diani Marine and adjacent customers.
