The Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) has announced 23 job vacancies across various departments.
In an advertisement on Tuesday, December 2, KNH said it is seeking to recruit qualified, experienced, and highly motivated individuals to fill the positions.
“The Hospital seeks to recruit dynamic, highly motivated, innovative, and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions,” read the advert in part.
The positions include: Chief Medical Specialist (Pediatric), Chief Medical Specialist (Obstetrics & Gynecology), Chief Medical Specialist (Pathology), Medical Specialist (Orthopedic Surgery - Hand), Medical Specialist (Gastroenterology/ Hepatologist), and Medical Specialist (Plastic Surgery).
Others are: Medical Specialist (Radiology), Medical Specialist (Cardiothoracic Surgery), Assistant Cardiac Technologist, Senior Principal Clinical Psychologist, Senior Principal Nutrition & Dietetics Officer, and Senior Principal Health Information Officer.

KNH is also seeking to recruit a Senior Principal Nursing Officer, Assistant Clerk of Works, Therapy Radiographer, 5 Occupational Therapists, and a Chief Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation.
Successful candidates will be required to submit a certificate of good conduct from the National Police Service, EACC Clearance, Credit Reference Bureau Clearance, HELB Compliance, and a KRA Tax Compliance.
How to Apply
Applicants are required to download and fill out the application form available at the KNH Website www.knh.or.ke.
The application form, together with a detailed CV indicating qualifications, experience, current responsibilities, copies of testimonials and certificates, which must be serialized, should be dropped at the Hospital’s Central Registry located at the KNH Administration block.
Applicants can also send their applications to the Chief Executive Officer, Kenyatta National Hospital, P.O. Box 20723-00202, NAIROBI.
The deadline for submitting the applications is December 22, 2025.
Further, the hospital clarified that it does not charge any application fees.
This comes weeks after the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) invited qualified Kenyans to apply for 68 contract and permanent positions.
In a notice on Tuesday, November 18, KUTRRH said applicants are required to submit their applications online via the hospital’s recruitment portal at https://recruitment.kutrrh.go.ke/.
Each application must clearly indicate the title of the position and the corresponding job reference number.
The hospital set Tuesday, December 9, as the deadline for all applications. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
