Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen on Sunday evening lamented over what he termed as favouritism in the planning of the Monday launch of the BBI report.
According to the former Majority Leader of the Senate, only parliamentarians allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga were receiving invitations to the event.
He has also called for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga to commit to accepting the 2022 poll outcome should he lose to opponents.
"My friends in National Assembly and Senate have not been invited to the “inclusive” BBI Bomas rally. @ahmednasirlaw Is your client the DP invited? I hear cards are being dished to Kieleweke adherence like Panadol. Awuoro!," he wrote on social media.

Mr Murkomen and his Meru counterpart Mithika Linturi on Sunday attended a church service at Athi Catholic Church where they led an onslaught against he BBI.
According to the two leaders, the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) does not provide a solution to recurrent electoral disputes in the country.
"After going through the BBI report, there is nothing to assure us that Raila will not reject the election results in 2022. If he assures us that he will accept defeat, we will support the BBI," Murkomen stated.
At the church service, Senator Linturi took issue with the proposed establishment of the office of the Judiciary ombudsman to be appointed by the President terming it as an obvious infringement on the independence of the Judiciary.
