One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals and their allies have hinted at a possible alliance with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga ahead of the August 9 General Elections.
OKA brings together Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and KANU Chairman Gideon Moi following ANC's Musalia Mudavadi and his FORD Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula's exit.
Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr ruled out any possibility of Wiper working with Deputy President William Ruto following the famous Bomas walk-out.
“Their walking out on Musalia just tells you they didn’t agree on joining Ruto. That is clear that in the question of supporting DP, they are easily taking a position,” he said.
KANU secretary general Nick Salat shared the same sentiments stating that they might join Azimio.

On January 23, Mudavadi and Wetangula joined forces with DP Ruto diminishing the alliance and forcing OKA to part ways with ANC over its link with UDA.
The ANC leader added that working with Odinga's Azimio la Umoja was not an option for them.
Deputy President William Ruto confirmed the partnership stating that UDA would work with like-minded parties.
"We will work with ANC, Ford Kenya, and all other parties that want to walk this journey of bringing Kenyans together.
"We are going to raise the bar and standards of leadership so that deceit and conman ship doesn't become part of the equation of leadership in Kenya. Kenya must belong to everyone and not a preserve of a few in power," the DP stated.
After announcing the partnership, DP Ruto (UDA), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), and Moses Wetangula (Ford-K) held their first joint rally in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County on January, 26, 2022.
