Professional Experience

Cumulatively, he has 18 years professional experience. He spent 8 of the 18 years in engagements such as serving as a land registrar in Kilifi.

He moved to the Office of the DPP In 2013 where he started out as a prosecutor in Nairobi and slowly grew through the ranks to become an Assistant DPP.

By the time of his nomination, he was the head of the ODPP's North Eastern region office. Following the nomination, his name was forwarded to Parliament for approval.

One of the major tasks that await him, if he is approved is mending and harmonising the relationship between the ODPP and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) that appeared broken during the previous regime.
