ODM Leader Raila Odinga now wants two Cabinet Secretaries in President William Ruto's government to resign and face persecution over the Government to Government Oil deal between Kenya, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Raila says Energy CS Davis Chirchir and his treasury counterpart Njugunga Ndung'u violated the law in the handling of the government-to-government oil deal.
As such, the ODM leader now wants the two to vacate office and face the law.

"CSs Davis Chirchir and Njuguna Ndung'u have gone against the constitution, committed criminal offenses, and abused office. They stole money from the consolidated fund in addition, they are spending money way above what the parliament approved. They must not only resign but also be prosecuted," Raila said.
At the same time, Raila challenged the government to show proof of how they are paying for the imported oil via the Kenyan shilling saying the whole narrative is a lie.
President Ruto said the government-to-government deal had saved Kenya from relying on the dollar in the purchase of oil.
"This regime has told Kenyans so many fictitious stories. We challenge the government to share evidence of the oil payments and show documents indicating when they were made, as well as bank accounts and recipients," he said.
The revelation comes barely a week after Raila labeled the G-to-G deal as a scam in the making.
President William Ruto however denied the allegations and said the deal is open and transparent.
