The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced 86 job slots in the State Department of Foreign Affairs.
In a notice on Wednesday, October 29, PSC invited qualified Kenyans to apply for the opportunities.
The vacancies include: Director Foreign Service/Minister II (37), Deputy Director Foreign Service/Minister Counsellor (26) and Assistant Director Foreign Service/Counsellor (23).
The commission urged interested candidates to get more details of the jobs on the PSC website.
“The details of the post and mode of application can be accessed on the Commission’s website,” read the notice in part.

How to Apply
PSC noted that interested persons are required to submit their applications via the commission’s jobs portal or website.
The deadline for submitting the applications is November 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
“Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the Commission website: www.publicservice.go.ke or jobs portal: www.psckjobs.go.ke so as to reach the Commission on or before 18th November, 2025 (Latest 5.00 pm East African Time),” PSC stated.
Further, the commission cautioned applicants against fraudsters posing as Commission staff and soliciting bribes from the public.
“Public Service Commission does not charge any fee for job applications, shortlisting, interviews or appointments,” the notice concluded.
The notice comes a day after the Social Health Authority (SHA) announced 212 vacancies across various departments in the organisation.
In the advert published in the MyGov newspaper, the authority said it is seeking to recruit visionary, result-driven, and experienced professionals to fill positions ranging from senior management roles to support staff.
The available positions span multiple job grades from A to C, with the highest number of vacancies being 54 for Officer Administrator II positions under job grade B, and 53 for Driver II positions under job grade 10.
Other positions available include Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Officer I, Customer Experience Officer (Dispatch Centre), Senior Internal Auditor, Human Resource Management and Development Officer I, Internal Auditor I, Corporate Communication Officer I, Planning and Linkages Officer I, Provider Management Officer II, Supply Chain Management Officer I, Finance and Accounts Officer II, and Information, Communication and Technology Officer II.
Interested candidates are required to submit a Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, a Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority and a Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
They should also submit a Clearance Certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and a Report from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
To apply for the positions, candidates should submit their applications, including a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, a cover letter demonstrating suitability for the position, and contacts of at least three professional referees.
The applications should be addressed to: The Chairperson, Social Health Authority, P.O. Box 30443-00100, Ragati Road, Nairobi.
Alternatively, they can be submitted online at https://recruitment.sha.go.ke/ or physically delivered to the SHA building, 10th floor. The deadline for the applications is also on November 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
