ODM party leader Oburu Oginga is back in the country after days of speculation about his physical wellness.
The 82-year-old has been out of the country for what his family explained was a short break and a period of rejuvenation after the demanding activities during the funeral of his late brother, Raila Odinga, and the ODM@20 celebrations in Mombasa.
Some quarters alleged he had been taken ill.
“Oburu was among the guests at the Nikkah ceremony of National Intelligence Service (NIS) Director Noordin Haji’s son, Mohammed Noordin, who is marrying Jamila Mohammed.
The ODM leader accompanied President William Ruto, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula, and Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen, among other leaders, at the ceremony in Masalani, Ijara Town.

This would be Oburu's first social event after his disappearance from the public a few days back.
The Siaya senator's son, Jaoko Oburu, had explained that the family forced him to take the break to unwind and recharge after tough weeks.
Jaoko allayed the concerns among Oburu and ODM supporters who had been shaken by reports that suggested he was not well.
The Dubai trip was Oburu's first outside the country since the loss of his younger brother, Raila Odinga.
Raila passed away in India on October 15 after collapsing during his morning walk.
He was rushed to Devamatha Hospital in southern India, where doctors fought to revive him following a heart attack.
Arriving without a heartbeat, he was admitted straight into the ICU.
Despite intensive CPR and other emergency interventions, medics were unable to save the 80‑year‑old.
Meanwhile, the family is yet again in mourning following the passing of their kin, Beryl Achieng.
Beryl, a sister of Raila and Oburu, breathed her last on October 25.
She had been battling an undisclosed illness for a time. Due to her state, Beryl missed the funeral of her brother last month.
