President William Ruto has hailed his Aide-de-Camp (ADC), Brigadier Fabian Lengusuranga, over his official duties.
The President had visited Samburu on Sunday, November 9, for a church service when he recognised his ADC.
Lengusuranga is a native of Samburu County.
The president noted that he had entrusted his security and other major assignments to the natives of the county, Lengusuranga included.
He particularly recognised the ADC for attending to his duties with keenness.

Later speaking in jest, the president stated that had his security been bungled, then the people of Samburu would be put to task by virtue of one of their own being in charge.
The president shared that it is Lengusuranga who knows of his whereabouts every second, where he goes and where he sleeps.
"I have my confidant here; My ADC Fabian Lengusuranga. He is the one who knows where I am 24 hours. He knows where I enter, where I have gone, where I sleep, etc. So if my security goes wrong, the people from this region will be answerable. He's taking care of the job well," Ruto said.

Lengusuranga became Ruto's ADC in October 2022, taking over Major General Stelu Lekolool, who briefly served Ruto before being deployed to the Department of Defence headquarters.
Lekolool was former president Uhuru Kenyatta's ADC from 2018 to 2022, when the former president's term ended.
Lengusuranga was tapped from the Kenya Army's elite forces unit.
He was a lieutenant colonel until June this year, when he was promoted to the brigadier rank.
In other promotions undertaken around the same time, the president promoted Major General David Kipkemboi Keter to a Lieutenant General and made him the Commander of the Kenya Army.
Keter succeeded Lieutenant General David Kimaiyo Chemwaina Tarus, who was reassigned as Vice Chancellor of the National Defence University – Kenya (NDU-K).
Prior to his new role at the helm of the Kenya Army, Keter served as Assistant Chief of Defence Forces, overseeing Personnel and Logistics.
In the Kenya Air Force, Major General Benard Waliaula took over as the Commander, replacing Major General Fatuma Gaiti Ahmed, who retired from the service.
Waliaula previously held the position of Director at Defence National Security Industries.
Additional changes included the promotion of Brigadier Joel Muriungi M'arimi to Major General and his appointment as Commandant of the Kenya Military Academy.
Brigadier Joyce Chelang’at Sitienei was promoted to Major General and named Deputy Vice Chancellor for the Centre for Strategic and Security Studies at NDU-K.
She was formerly Director of the International Peace Support Centre.
